Cookies

In short

We use only the cookies the app needs to work and to keep your account safe, plus two that remember a choice you made. There are no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and none from other companies. Because of that, we do not show a cookie banner: there is nothing to switch off.

  Keeps you signed in while you use the app and remembers what you were doing (for example a form you are filling in).

  Keeps you signed in on this device after you sign in with Google, so you do not sign in every visit. Signing out removes it. (The end of its name is a random code.)

All of them are set by this app’s own address and are only sent back to it. The session and sign-in cookies cannot be read by scripts on the page.

Other things saved on your device

• Your permit, for use offline. On phones, the student app keeps a copy of your home page and permit so they open on exam day even without signal.
• Small notes in your browser such as “install card closed”, “alerts card closed” and your screen mode, so the app does not ask again.
• Phone notifications, only if you turn them on.

These stay on your device and are not used to track you. If you use a shared phone, sign out and clear the browser’s site data when you are done.

What we do not use

• No Google Analytics or any other analytics service.
• No Facebook, TikTok or other social media pixels.
• No ads, and no cookies from other companies.
• When you choose “Continue with Google”, you sign in on Google’s own page, where Google’s cookie policy applies.
• No outside fonts or scripts: the letters you see are served by this app itself.

Your choices

You can delete cookies in your browser’s settings at any time. If you block the session or security cookies, you will not be able to sign in. To learn how we use your information, read the Privacy notice.
