Step-by-step help for the SKSU Tertiary Placement Test
system, with pictures. Use the search at the top, or
pick a topic on the left. Updated October 30, 2026.
1.Getting started
The TPT app is where you apply for the SKSU Tertiary
Placement Test, see what to do next, get your exam
permit and read your result. It works on any phone
with a browser. You don't need to download anything
from a store.
1.1What the steps are
There are five steps. The app always shows which one
you are on and what to do next, so you never have to
guess.

1.3Add the app to your home

Adding the app to your home screen makes it open
like a normal app, and your permit opens even
without internet.

or open the browser menu and tap
Add to Home screen.
iPhone (Safari): tap the
Share button, then
Add to Home Screen, then

2.Apply
Applying takes about 10 minutes. Your answers are
saved after each screen, so you can stop and come
back any time.
2.1Fill in the five screens
About you: your name exactly as
on your birth certificate, birthday, sex, mobile
number and address. Pick your province, town and
barangay from the lists.
School: start typing your
senior high school and pick it from the list. If
it isn't there, type its full name.
Programs: choose up to three
programs, in the order you want them.
Photo: add your 2×2 photo.
Review: check everything, tick
the box, and tap
Submit application.

2.2Add your photo
Pick any clear photo from your gallery. You don't
need to resize it: the app makes it smaller for you.
Face the camera, with a plain light background.
No sunglasses, caps or filters.
The photo is printed on your permit, so the
staff at the exam can recognise you.
Choose a photo from your gallery
2.3Check and submit
On Review, read every part. Tap
Edit next to a part to change it.
When everything is right, tick the box and tap
Submit application.
Review everything, then submit
After you submit, Home shows your payment code and
the date to pay by.
2.4If your application is
sent back
Sometimes the office asks you to fix something, for
example a blurry photo. You get a notice, and Home
shows which part to fix and why.
Tap Fix it now.
Change that part.
Tap Send it again.
Your place is kept. Nothing else changes.
3.Pay
You pay the test fee at an SKSU cashier (or online,
when the office turns that on). Home lists the
campuses where you can pay, under “Where to pay”.
The payment is recorded right away, and your
examinee number appears in the app.
3.1Pay at the cashier
Open Home. It shows the amount, your
payment code (for example
APP-27-39786) and the date to pay by.
Go to one of the cashiers under “Where to pay”
on a working day and show the code.
Pay, and keep your official receipt (OR).
Home shows your payment code and the date to
pay by
3.2Pay online and upload
your receipt
Only when the office turns it on for the school
year: Home then shows
Paid by GCash or bank? under the
cashier list, with the account to send the money to.
Paying at a cashier still works the same.
Send the exact amount to the GCash number or
bank account shown on Home. If your app lets you
add a message, write your payment code.
Tap Upload my receipt.
Type the reference number from
the receipt, and choose a screenshot or photo of
the receipt from your gallery. Make sure the
amount and the reference number are easy to
read.
Tap Send for checking.
Home now says
Receipt being checked, with the
reference and when you sent it. The office checks
receipts within 1 working day. When it is approved,
your examinee number appears on Home and you get a
notice and an email.
If the office sends it back (for
example, the photo is not clear), Home shows the
reason. Upload it again (the same reference number
is fine), or pay at a cashier instead.
3.3After you pay
Home now shows your
examinee number and the next step:
pick your exam slot. You also get a notice in the
app, and a phone alert if alerts are on.
After payment, Home shows your examinee
number
3.4Cancel your application
Before you pay, you can cancel at the bottom of Home
(Cancel my application). Tell us
why in a few words. After you pay, ask the office
through Support instead.
4.Exam slot and permit
After you pay, you pick your exam day and campus.
You get a room, a seat and your permit right away.
4.1Pick your exam slot

Tap a date with seats left, then

4.2Your permit
Your permit shows your name, photo, examinee number,
exam day, campus, room and seat, and a QR code. Open
it from the Permit tab.
Tap Download permit (PDF) to
keep a copy you can print or show. It is a small
file.
It is also saved on your phone and opens without
internet.
Take a screenshot too, just in case.
Add to calendar puts the exam
in your phone's calendar.
Open map shows the campus.

4.3On exam day

bring:

proctor checks you in at the room.
